DEAD SUMMER SOCIETY is a doom/gothic/dark/ atmospheric/metal one man project from Italy, created by  guitarist/composer Mist  (also guitarist in How like a winter) with the collaboration of singers.

DEAD SUMMER SOCIETY's music can be described as a multiform soundscape with a dark, experimental approach, with folk, ambient and electronic elements blended with a hint of death/black metal within the doom/gothic main architecture. 
Growl, screaming and clean male vocals are sometimes enriched with beautiful female parts to create a fascinating, yet obscure, balance. 
A captivating, evocative musical structure, a mutable kaleidoscope.

The band officially started on 2010 with the release of "The heart of autumnsphere" instrumental demo. After that release, Mist started writing new material, with the collaboration of the male singer Trismegisto (musician and singer in several bands such as Cult of Vampirysm and Teeth and Thorns) and a couple of female vocalists to add vocals to the new music. 
After the debut album "Visions from a thousand lives", self released on 2012, Mist is now working on the second DEAD SUMMER SOCIETY's album with more singers/musicians collaborations.
The album will be released by Naturmacht Productions/Rain Without End Records on 2015.
